Parents

On this page, we aim to answer questions that you may have about the RAFAC (Royal Air Force Air Cadets). If you have a question that is not answered here, please use the contact form below.

TG Forms

Some activities require a TG 21 to allow your child to attend. Ensure you check your joining instructions beforehand.

If your child has any additional medical conditions you will need a TG 23. All of these forms can be found next to the noticeboard in the main parade hall.

Expedition Dates 2025

We like to release our DofE dates as early as possible to allow you to plan around them in advance. The dates cannot be changed, so if your child is unable to attend then they will have to attend the following year.

Upon full completion of the award, the Air Cadets will refund the licence fee if a completed TG25 is returned to sqn

How do I pay subs?

A cadet subscription is £17 per month. You need to set up a standing order with your bank to pay this monthly. This cost covers the insurance for cadets. Don't forget to cancel the standing order when your child leaves as this is done through your bank.

How do I join the Civilian Committee?

The committee is a separate entity of the squadron that is needed to consider how our funds are spent. Our committee consists of parents, ex-cadets, ex-staff and civilians committed to serving the youth of our community.

The committee meets once a month for approximately 2 hours to discuss funding proposals and upcoming events that the committee organise.
